Ok you people. Geez, where is your sense of humor?

I will take down the pic on the grounds that some of you believe this jw couple can't take a little good natured riffing on an apostate site. (looking at the guy, I didn't think this was the case)

As far as the black/white issue that didn't enter into it (as long as the white boy is adept at using his tongue, I don't see a problem with it lol).

I could have picked from thousands of young jw couples pictures and generally speaking (my job does not deal with statistical analysis) you would have a mis-matched couple. Most of the time the only thing the couple has in common is that they are both JWs.

My comments were based on my experience, my observations of my area in my lifetime. As a young jw girl in a medium sized congregation, there were 10 girls to one boy (who left us all and went to Bethel). Thus my 10:1 scenario.

btw if your job deals with statistical analysis could you have possibly taken offence at my "nerd" reference? lol

Anyway you want to deal it, JWs get a raw deal when it comes to marriage.

I saw one guy at a circuit assembly with his new bride. he was maybe 35, she was mabe 80 or 90!

Holy Crappers in a diaper Mr. Ben! What if he got her pregnant??? I saw a sister at a circuit assembly who was about 8 months pregnant. She looked to be about 65. (someone better get me a bucket)

I have seen beautiful foreign sisters marry grotesque american brothers. These slob-like brothers did improve somewhat after marriage now that they had a built in servant to take care of their every whim. just sick. but, in this case it's a win/win situation. the sister gets out of distressing poverty and can pray for her meal ticket to keel over with a heart attack...and the slobbish brother gets well a sexy wife who does everything for him (until she learns the language and the other sisters tell her how it is of course).

Btw, isn't it a tad unkind to pluck a couple's photo out of the web and then to make fun their appearance?

Well, technically I was only "making fun" of the skinny, pale white dude in the chain. But, he looks good humoured enough that he could take some ribbing. Besides, what does he care he's got a fine piece of black a$s right there?

as for the couple in the picture....they look perfectly happy, what do you say is wrong with the picture?

um, not a thing I guess. lots of strong black amazonian women marry pale, thin whimpy white boys and turn them into silly white rappers (notice the jw guy's opened shirt and large chain) It's all reminiscent of "Kip" Dynamite and LaFawnduh Lucas of Napoleon Dynamite fame. Of course there is nothing wrong with marrying your opposite as long as you're in love and he/she's the perfect one for you. My point was, many JWs have to "settle" for the one nerdy-goofy guy in the congregation that's single. The criteria for marriage is more what a good minesterial servant he is or how many hours he puts in service NOT what's important, like compatibility, mutual respect or financial security.
